Free tours in French, Monday to Saturday at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., and Sundays at 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. Duration: approx. 1h30. Registration on arrival at reception, no advance booking or ticket surcharge. Please note: these free tours may be cancelled depending on events taking place at the monument. We advise you to contact us on 01 48 09 83 54 to ensure that the day's visit is maintained.
The conference tour in French or English
Take a guided tour of Saint-Denis Cathedral Basilica with a professional tour guide. You'll discover the splendor of its Gothic architecture, its majestic façade, its South rose magnificently restored in 2021, the stained-glass windows of the chevet restored in 2023, as well as the most important royal necropolis with over 70 tombs of the kings and queens of France, built between the 12th and 16th centuries. Your guide will also show you the sacristy and the Valois portal, which are usually inaccessible to the public.

The application of the stained glass windows in the Basilica of Saint-Denis
This application lets you explore the Basilica's stained glass windows, designed by 19th-century architect and restorer François Debret. Interactive features such as image recognition and curiosity games to explore make it fun and intuitive to discover the iconographic programme. Thanks to a series of high-definition photographs, you can get as close as possible to the stained glass windows and appreciate every detail. The application is available on Google Play and App Store.
